CFA developed an interactive CD-ROM that centered around a journey down the Colorado River—from the headwaters in the Never Summer Range of Rocky Mountain National Park to the terminus in the Gulf of Mexico. Along the way a multitude of water issues were examined, explained and augmented by extensive text and internet resources. The multimedia disc also featured Colorado history and explained Colorado's system of water law and management.
The hundreds of images required to create the Colorado River portion of the disc were graciously provided by National Geographic Photographer Jim Richardson and have been published both in National Geographic and in book form.
